We are a biotechnology company specialising in the aquaculture farming of amphiopods as an alternative and sustainable source of protein. Our production model is based on the revaluation of by-products from the food industry, which allows us to transform waste into high-value nutrients for animal feed -especially in aquaculture and pets-, and with potential for human consumption.
We were born as a spinoff of a pioneer company in alternative proteins, with the ambition to develop more efficient, sustainable and scalable solutions. Through research and innovation, we have designed a highly specialised farming system that optimises resources and minimises environmental impact.
We believe in a future where food is more respectful of the planet, and we work every day to make our solutions part of that change.
What We Do
Our company has developed an innovative aquaculture model based on the cultivation of amphiopods, small crustaceans with a high protein content and excellent nutritional properties. These organisms become an alternative source of protein for different sectors:
- Aquaculture: as part of more sustainable and efficient feeds.
- Pets: as a functional ingredient for high quality food.
- Human food: in protein-rich, low environmental impact products (under development).
